Anthony Martial has given
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer a huge boost ahead of Manchester United’s Europa League final clash against Villarreal by returning to full training.
The Frenchman was initially ruled out for the remainder of the campaign after he injured knee ligaments on international duty with France.
Solskjaer was pessimistic about Martial’s chances of featuring again this season but the 25-year-old has made a rapid recovery and was able to participate in training on Sunday with his team-mates.
Martial was spotted taking to the field alongside Paul Pogba, Luke Shaw and Eric Bailly as United look to put a 4-2 defeat to Liverpool behind them.

United take on Fulham at Old Trafford on Tuesday, where they can confirm a second place finish with a win against Scott Parker’s side.
Though Martial is not expected to feature at Old Trafford, he is on course to be part of the squad that will take on Wolves on the final day of the season.
That would give the former Monaco ace time to prove his fitness in time for the final in Gdansk.
Edinson Cavani has shone in Martial’s absence and is a certainty to start up front against the La Liga side provided he’s fit.
But Martial’s availability would be a boost to Solskjaer, giving the Norwegian another scoring option from the bench.
