Arsenal are willing to let the trio of Alexandre Lacazette, Ainsley Maitland-Niles and Reiss Nelson all leave this summer, while Joe Willock’s future is in the balance, with the club yet to decide on whether they see a role for him.

Lacazette is easily the biggest name available for transfer over the close season, with the Frenchman’s contract due to expire and no talks underway or planned over a new deal, reports Sky Sports.

The 30-year-old will be allowed to leave on a free transfer in 2022 if no suitable offers come in for him during this transfer window.

This is despite being a regular in the starting XI since arriving at Arsenal in 2017, playing 170 games in all competitions and scoring 65 goals.

The Frenchman cost Arsenal around £47m four years ago and they would obviously not get anything like that for him now. With his wages reportedly around £180,000-a-week, the club are very keen to get him off the books and free up space on the wage bill for new players.

Both Maitland-Niles and Nelson are deemed surplus to requirements at the Emirates and offers will be considered for both players who came through the Arsenal youth system.

Another academy product, Joe Willock, may have done enough on his loan spell at Newcastle United last season to convince Mikel Arteta to give him another chance.

The 21-year-old scored eight goals in 14 games in the second half of the last campaign, netting in each of the last six league matches for the Magpies.

While Arsenal could still be persuaded to let him go, it would have to be for a substantial fee, while the other players are actively available for transfer.
