Billy (Daniel Brocklebank) popped into the café to speak to Roy (David Neilson) about Summer (Harriet Bibby), mentioning that she’s been having trouble with sleeping and eating since the attack.
Nina sat down with Summer, but it didn’t take long for her to snap and point out the extent of her own loss, which left Summer feeling awful.
Heading out, Nina tried to buy a bottle of vodka from Dev (Jimmi Harkishin) but recognising her state, Dev refused to serve her.
When Dev’s back was turned, Nina managed to swipe a bottle and made her way over to Billy’s to see Summer.
Clearly drunk, Nina tried to encourage Summer to ‘have a bit of fun’ but she was far too worried.
After Asha (Tanisha Gorey) arrived, Nina’s self destruction escalated and leaving the flat, we really saw the extent of just how much she was struggling.
Overhearing Roy and Billy talking, Nina hid in the ginnel and, trying to block out her grief, she hit the bottle once more.
Will Nina return home?
How bad will things get for her before she begins to move forward?
