EastEnders spoilers: Patrick and Sheree terrified as Isaac spirals

Isaac, Sheree and Patrick in EastEnders

Isaac continued to lose control (Pictures: BBC)

Patrick (Rudolph Walker) and Sheree Trueman (Suzette Llewellyn) were left terrified in tonight’s (July 1) episode of EastEnders as realisation hit that Isaac Baptiste’s (Stevie Basaula) schizophrenia was very much taking hold.

The teacher has become convinced Johnny Allen covered up his brother Paul’s murder and, as we’ve seen in recent episodes, Isaac has gone to drastic and great lengths to try and prove his theory.

This week, Isaac entered Ruby’s (Louisa Lytton) club and accused her of playing a part in Paul’s death.

Tonight, seeing his son was struggling, Patrick asked Isaac to explain his theory about Paul.

We saw the desperation in Isaac’s eyes as he tried to tell his father everything but unfortunately, Patrick wasn’t able to understand.

Clearly overwhelmed, Isaac realised his dad didn’t believe him either and questioned whether Patrick thought he was ‘cracking up’.

In an attempt to calm down, Isaac left Walford to stay with a mate, but it didn’t stop Sheree and Patrick going out of their mind with worry.

Sheree told Patrick that she doesn’t think things will be as bad this time as she has family around her, but what’s next for Isaac?

He isn’t showing any signs of wanting to take his medication, how dark are things about to get?
