Jimmy King’s (Nick Miles) life in Emmerdale hasn’t been the same since the barn explosion and death of Paul Ashdale (Reece Dinsdale).
Jimmy has been plagued with guilt, convinced he will face jail for killing Paul, and his relationship with Nicola (Nicola Wheeler) has also suffered in the process.
Coming up, it’s finally the court hearing as Jimmy takes to the stand, but will his final scenes air soon after he’s sentenced to time behind bars?
Nicola thinks Jimmy’s first day in court has gone well, whereas Jimmy’s shaken by the experience.
With Jimmy determined to prepare himself for the worst, Nicola starts to worry her husband has given up.
After another day in court, Nicola tries to make Jimmy see that his flustered testimony on the stand was that of an honest man, not a practiced liar.
However, Jimmy’s in turmoil as he rejects Nicola’s positivity and begins to pack for prison.
But, what will the verdict be?
If Jimmy spends time in prison, what will that mean for Nicola?
