The motive? Why, to split Andrea and Charles Anderson (Kevin Mathurin), of course!
Meena has it in her head that Charles belongs with Manpreet Sharma (Rebecca Sarker), and therefore she has made it her mission to ruin the vicar’s relationship with Andrea.
Upon getting wind of the fact that Andrea and Charles were heading off on a romantic camping trip together, Meena decided that this was the best chance for her to take action.
She attempted to plant seeds of doubt in Charles’ mind about his relationship, and then later questioned Andrea about how she could possibly cope in the great outdoors.
When neither of the aforementioned tactics worked, she decided to change gears, and therefore lured Millie’s beloved pet dog Princess into Andrea’s car with her favourite toy, before shutting the door tight.
With just about every resident of the eponymous village having made reference to the glorious sunshine that was on display, it was clear that Princess was in grave danger.
David Metcalfe (Matthew Wolfenden) spotted an ailing Princess through the car window, and Charles took her to the vets.
Meena, meanwhile, praised David for saving the day, before she decided to scheme some more, as she filled Charles in on an incident from Andrea’s past involving Tip the dog!
With her having proven that she’ll do just about anything to get her own way, Meena is evidently not someone to not to be messed with!
