Hollyoaks spoilers: Cancer trauma for Grace and Martine as they visit the hospital

It’s a tough week for Martine and Grace (Picture: Lime Pictures)

Martine Derveraux (Kelle Bryan) and Grace Black (Tamara Wall) are left fearing the worst in Hollyoaks next week, as they go to the hospital to get lumps checked.

Grace was terrified several weeks ago, after she discovered a lump in her chest.

She subsequently opened up to Diane Hutchinson (Alex Fletcher) about her discovery, before informing Felix Westwood (Richard Blackwood) about her fears.

Felix’s attention is elsewhere next week, however, as Martine goes to town on him after she overhears him asking Celeste Faroe (Andrea Ali) for a favour regarding the dodgy business deal.

Celeste, however, notices that Martine is still in love with Felix, and pleads with her mum to tell him how she feels.

Martine ultimately does just that, and Felix is later torn between his feelings for both his ex and new girlfriend Grace.

He seemingly makes his choice, however, as he ditches Grace’s birthday celebrations to be with Martine, and they end up sharing a passionate kiss.

The steamy moment, however, is interrupted when they find a lump on Martine’s chest.

The audience will then follow both Martine and Grace as the simultaneously head to the hospital, to see if the lumps they’ve found are cancerous.

The day goes to plan for Grace, but not so much for Martine, who finds herself being turned away from the hospital by Peri Lomax (Ruby O’Donnell), and thus she doesn’t get the opportunity to see the doctor.

Celeste, livid, gives Peri a piece of her mind, and Peri, after speaking to Misbah Maalik (Harvey Virdi), realises where she went wrong.

She then attempts to track down Martine in the hopes of persuading her to reschedule her appointment.

One to watch: Thursday April 15 at 7pm on E4.
