The Harley Medical Group advise: ‘Please be aware that while there is no down-time the results are not immediate; it can take up to five days for the results of the treatment to be fully visible.’
Those who have had botox are advised to avoid exercise and hot baths in the days immediately following the treatment to prevent sweating out the injected treatment.
How long does botox last before you need another treatment?
Dr Jane Leonard, who has nine years of experience in aesthetic treatments, told Metro.co.uk that, ‘Botox lasts typically between three to six months.’
‘The length of treatment is dependent on the dose of Botox used and how strong the facial muscles are.
The Harley Medical Group also say: ‘To ensure the best results long-term initial treatments should be approximately 3-4 months apart, but this will eventually become 6-12 months as your muscle is re-educated.’
