Jedward didn’t hold back as they hit out at their X Factor mentor Louis Walsh on social media in the early hours of Monday morning.

The twin brothers, real names John and Edward Grimes, took aim at the television judge, who mentored them on the sixth series of the ITV competition show, which has been off-air since 2019, in 2009.

‘Louis Walsh at this point only wants acts to manage to make it look like he’s doing something!’ they tweeted.

‘He’s a cold-hearted two-faced bitch who uses his powers for his own benefit.’

Jedward also shared a screenshot of an alleged interview with Walsh and added: ‘Louis Walsh wants to make another girlband like Girls Aloud who he told had to lose weight! Don’t get involved with Toxic Management!’

This isn’t the first time that Jedward have ripped into X Factor in recent months.

In April, the twins took a huge swipe at Simon Cowell, branding him ‘nothing but a bad facelift’.

They also said that every contestant was a ‘slave to the show’.

‘The biggest regret in life was not telling the judges on X Factor to f*** off,’ Jedward penned.

In a separate tweet, they added: ‘Every contestant on the X Factor was a slave to the show and got paid Zero while they made millions!

‘The fact that every contestant has to act like their judge mentors them! When in reality all they care about is their pay check!’

Jedward shot to fame after appearing on X Factor in 2009 with their trademark gravity-defying hair.

They sailed through to the live finals, however, left the competition in sixth place, with Joe McElderry going on to win the series.

A rep for Louis Walsh declined to comment.
