President Joe Biden has arrived in New Jersey as part of his daylong tour of neighborhoods in the northeast ravaged by the remnants of Hurricane Ida last week.

Biden touched down at Central Jersey Regional Airport in Hillsborough Township, New Jersey, around noon on Tuesday.

He was greeted by New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy, his wife, and Democratic House members Bonnie Watson Coleman, Tom Malinowski and Frank Pallone.

The president is set to receive a briefing at the Somerset County Emergency Training Center and then visit Manville.

Biden is scheduled to deliver his remarks on Ida in Queens, New York City, at 4pm local time.
