Starring on the longest running multi-camera sitcom of all time meant that the duo and their co-stars Jim Parsons, Kunal Nayyar, and Simon Helberg were reportedly paid $1million (£770,000) per episode of TBBT, until they took a $100,000 (£70,700) cut to give Mayim Bialk and Melissa Rauch a much-deserved pay rise.
Looking back at when they were first starting to negotiate their jaw-dropping salaries, the 34-year-old revealed it would often leave her sobbing.
Speaking on Dax Shepard’s Armchair Expert, she explained: ‘Johnny and I were very close and we were partners in this whole thing so we got to share the celebrations together. We were like “Can you believe we did that?” We did that together.
‘I remember after the first negotiations, we had a lot of the same team so we would get together and have these big meetings. Then after we’d walk outside in disbelief annd we would cry.’
Kaley continued: ‘We would have these long late night conversations where we would be balling because he and I both knew this would never happen again because it won’t.’
The HBO Max shows – which she also produced – sees Kaley star as Cassie, whose life is flipped upside-down life after she wakes up from a raucous night out to find herself in bed with a male corpse.
Problem is, she has no idea why he’s dead, and if she’s the one who killed him.
The Flight Attendant airs on HBO Max from November 26.
