Kettering: Dancer, 22, cause of death confirmed at inquest

Maddie Durdant-Hollamby was found with knife wounds to the chest

A dancer, whose boyfriend killed himself after attacking her, suffered fatal stab wounds to the chest, an inquest heard today.

The body of Maddie Durdant-Hollamby, 22, was found at her boyfriend Ben Green’s modern detached home in Slate Drive, Kettering at lunchtime on August 27th.

Concerns were raised for her safety and when police arrived they found Maddie’s body alongside that of Green, 41, who had suffered self-inflicted fatal stab wounds.

Northamptonshire police launched a murder inquiry and believe Green, who worked as a marketing director at a water firm, killed Maddie before taking his own life. Officers said they were not looking for anyone else.
