The France international has one year left on his deal at Old Trafford and will be free to negotiate with clubs outside of the Premier League from January,
Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola has repeatedly talked up a move away from Manchester in recent seasons but the midfielder enjoyed an impressive 2020-21 campaign under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer with the club targeting further improvement in the league and Champions League next season.
While reports suggest United have opened talks, the 28-year-old says he is unaware of any developments over his club future with his focus fully on France’s Euro 2020 campaign.
‘I have one year of my contract left. Everyone knows that,’ Pogba told a press conference on Thursday.
‘There is no concrete proposal (from United) yet.
‘I haven’t sat down with the directors and the manager, I am still in Manchester.
‘My thinking now is the Euros. I am focused. I have more experience than before, I am focused on the present and that is the Euros. I have an agent who takes care of all that.’
ESPN meanwhile report that United fear Pogba will allow his contract to run down allowing him to leave for nothing next summer, with the club keen to initiate contract talks soon in order to discover the Frenchman’s true intentions.
