Pete Davidson has officially moved out of his mother’s house.

The 27-year-old has been living with his mum Amy since his split from Ariana Grande, having bought a house in Staten Island with his mother.

However, it seems spending Valentine’s Day with his mother pushed him over the edge.

In a FaceTime call with an interviewer which was shared to TikTok, the Saturday Night Live star opened the door to his apartment and said: ‘I just moved out of my mom’s house. I’m fully out. I got a pad.’

According to Page Six, Pete’s luxury condo in North Staten Island – not too far from his mum’s house – cost $1.2million (£863,000), and boasts two bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms and overlooks the Manhattan skyline.

The apartment, which Pete bought in December, also has a private terrace, a Jacuzzi and a walk-in closet.

Pete previously purchased a $1.3m (£935,000) home with Amy, and lived in the house’s basement, which he called his ‘cave’.

Showing cameras around for his comedy special Alive in New York, Pete joked about the effect his living situation had with his love life, saying: ‘This is my bedroom, where nothing happens because I live with my mom.’

Addressing their purchase on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, the King of Staten Island star said: ‘”We bought a house together, but nobody believes that. I live with my mom, kinda, so I have like a basement that’s like mine that’s like an apartment, so I live underneath her, so I’m getting like a little arcade set up down there trying to make it mine.’

However, back in February, Pete announced his intention to move out on SNL’s Weekend Update.

He said: ‘In some ways, I like the pandemic Valentine’s because it’s the first time being alone wasn’t my fault. I spent the night eating chocolates and watching a movie with my mom, which is why I’m officially moving out of the house. One of us has to go.’

When Colin Jost asked him if he’s definitely moving out, Pete replied: ‘Yeah, I have to.

‘The thing is my mom is a lot like this show. No matter what I do, I’m never asked to leave. Also, they’re both really old and noticeably fatigued.’

He added: ‘Me and my mom bought that house together, so for me to afford somewhere new I’m gonna have to fight Jake Paul or steal one of Lorne’s paintings.’

Pete’s new bachelor pad comes amid reports that his romance with Bridgerton star Phoebe Dynevor is going strong.

The pair were first linked last month when Pete was spotted in Manchester, where the 25-year-old actress lives, while Phoebe is believed to have spent time with the comic while she filmed Younger in New York.

A source told Us Weekly: ‘Pete and Phoebe are still going strong despite not being able to physically spend time together.

‘They keep in touch over text and FaceTime. Right now, they’re just focused on work. They’re not looking to rush things.’

Pete was previously engaged to Ariana Grande, before dating Kate Beckinsale, actress Margaret Qualley and model Kaia Gerber.
