What is the highlight of a vital football match? The tension? The goals? No, of course not, it’s Ross Kemp’s animated reactions throughout.

So far during the Euro 2020 final match between England and Italy has not disappointed. Across the country, fans exploded with excitement.

But no one was quite as loud and passionate as the EastEnders star, best known for playing Grant Mitchell.

After the first goal was booted into the net within two minutes by Luke Shaw, Ross was quick to take his eyes off the match and film himself yelling: ‘What a start, what a start.’

He was shouting so loudly that at one point his voice became squeaky.

He advised the England team to ‘keep going’ – and to be fair, they could probably hear him at Wembley so it could be Ross who brings it home for them.

His other words of wisdom was for the players to keep cool heads; something that Ross may want to do himself before he bursts a blood vessel.

He ended by calming down slightly and encouraged the team to bring it home.

As we write, England is 1-0 up. But this story will be updated as we have no doubt there will be further videos from Ross.
