A search is underway for a four-year-old girl who vanished from home and may be in another country.

Scarlet Duddy was last seen shortly before midday yesterday leaving a children’s play centre in the Springtown Road area of Londonderry, Northern Ireland.

She is described as having hazel eyes and light brown hair, which was tied up with a pink hair bow at the time she went missing.

Scarlet was also wearing peach coloured leggings, a peach skirt, a peach t-shirt with ‘daddy’s little superstar’ printed on the front and a dark blue jumper with a silver sequined heart.

Two of the girl’s front two teeth are also missing, according to Belfast Live.

Inspector Michael Swanson said: ‘We are keen to know that Scarlet is safe and well. We believe she may be in the company of a relative and may possibly be in the Republic of Ireland.

‘If any members of the public have any information about Scarlet, I would urge them to contact police immediately.’
