The 32-year-old will leave City after 10 fantastic years at the club and is set to sign off with a fifth Premier League title, and possibly a lot more.
Pep Guardiola’s side are still on for the quadruple, which would be the perfect way to end Aguero’s incredible time at the club.
Barcelona have been heavily linked with a move for the prolific striker, wanting to link him up with good friend Lionel Messi, but Aguero is reportedly happy to stay in England and the Premier League.
Clearly his options in the English top flight are realistically very few and the Telegraph report that Chelsea and Tottenham are two of the most realistic available to him.
Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has not ruled out a move for Aguero, but says he does not believe the striker would ‘want to go to a local rival.’
Mikel Arteta has ruled out Arsenal making an offer to Aguero, while Liverpool have shown no interest as yet, leaving Spurs and Chelsea as the remaining realistic options on these shores.
Despite Aguero’s openness to remain in the Premier League, the biggest offers are likely to come from abroad and the favourites with the bookmakers to sign him this summer remain Barcelona, followed by Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain.
While a switch to Chelsea or Spurs may not be off the table, both remain unlikely at this stage.
