HRVY and Maisie Smith have topped the Strictly Come Dancing leaderboard ahead of the first elimination.

The EastEnders actress and her dance partner Gorka Marquez came out on top during Saturday’s live episode – with their Tango earning them a score of 25 out of 30.

Craig Revel Horwood and Motsi Mabuse both gave Maisie eight out of 10, while Shirley Ballas gave the actress a nine.

This week’s scores will be combined with the judge’s scores from last week, and will make up the total as the contestants go into the first public vote.

Maisie’s score of 24 from last week means she’s tied for first place on the leaderboard with singer HRVY, who scored 25 last week and 24 this week.

In third place is Strictly’s same-sex couple, Nicola Adams and her dance partner Katya Jones, who scored 24 this week.

Comedian Bill Bailey also scored 24 this week when he danced the quickstep with his partner Oti Mabuse.

However, former politician Jacqui Smith and her partner Anton Du Beke are in last place, having scored just 12 points this week.

Just above her is Made In Chelsea star Jamie Laing and retired American football player Jason Bell.

Tomorrow night, the first Strictly dance-off will take place, meaning one celeb will be sent home.

But, who will it be?

Strictly Come Dancing airs on Saturday at 7.10pm on BBC One.
