The Crown’s Emma Corrin ‘flashes crown jewels’ after playing Princess Diana

Emma Corrin plays a royal blush following her debut as a demure Princess Diana in The Crown.

The 24-year-old star signalled that she has no qualms about flashbulbs in her own life when she slipped out of her royal robes to pose in a net dress, sans half her underwear.

Corrin also sizzled in a sheer top and black bra on the cover of GQ Hype as she dumped her blonde Diana dye job and returned to being a brunette.

But she admits she would cringe if she bumped into Diana’s sons, Princes William and Harry, at a showbiz bash.

‘If I ever saw them at a party, I’d probably leave,’ said the actress, who revealed before her bow on the Netflix show last night, that she covers Diana’s battle with bulimia graphically.

Asked how the princes would react to her portrayal of their mother, she replied: ‘I can’t imagine. I’d be interested to know what they think.’

And she warned the pair the show is ‘pretty much’ a sad portrayal of their mum ‘apart from the 20 minutes when Charles and Diana are happy in episode six’.

Mulling over Diana’s life, Corrin said: ‘The real mistake was that the marriage (to Prince Charles) happened in the first place. She had this idea of what she wanted it to be because she was so young. I drew on my own experience for that. I think of myself as young, but I was 23 when we were filming. Diana was 19.’

The actress says she got the job opposite Josh O’Connor — who plays Prince Charles — because the two stars had ‘kind of no chemistry’.

And she is gutted to only be starring in one series — Elizabeth Debicki will play Diana in the final two seasons.

‘It’s a shame. I’m sad about it, but I’ve moved on,’ she said.

Foo-ey to the rules! Crank it up, Dave Grohl tells fans

Dave Grohl found a way to beat nuisance noise curfews as the Foo Fighters were forced to play their 25th birthday show to an empty room.

The Best Of You rocker urged fans to crank up the volume knob and hack off the neighbours during a 12-song livestreamed set from The Roxy Theatre in Hollywood on Saturday night.

‘That’s right, 2020 was going to be the best year ever. And here we are, ’ the US rock legend told fans watching at home.

Grohl, 51, who broke a noise curfew during a show at The O2 three years ago, then added: ‘So if you hate your f***ing neighbour, or your f***ing roommate… I want everybody to sing here by yourself to your iPad.

‘If that feels awkward, imagine what it’s like being on this stage pretending there are people here. If I was in your living room right now we’d be up until 5 o’clock in the morning.’

Grohl is gutted he can’t play new album Medicine At Midnight on stage amid the pandemic. ‘We wrote these songs — these big grooves, big choruses to be played in stadiums,’ he said.

I’m all right Jack! Geri flies the flag for UK’s open Spices

Geri Halliwell showed there ain’t no mountain high enough to stop her flying the Union flag.

Ginger Spice — who famously played The Brits in a Union Jack mini-dress — has scaled Mt Snowdon during the pandemic and said of the 3,560ft peak: ‘This world is wonderful. This is our back garden.

‘Whatever is going on in our lives, you go, “Look at that” and say, “There’s something bigger than all of us”.’

Last week, Geri, 48, debuted her Rainbow Woman series — dressed as Queen Elizabeth I — on her new YouTube channel and she plans to share new tracks on the web.

Kylie’s inn love thanks to matchmaker

Kylie Minogue credits a pal for helping her find love with Paul Solomons — by getting the mag boss to swing by a bar in a matchmaking stunt.

The pop princess, whose new No.1 album Disco helped her become the first woman to top the charts across five decades, has revealed how the Magic happened.

‘My friend kept telling me about a guy called Paul who he’d worked with. One day, we went to a bar and he said, “Right, I’m calling him.” Two minutes later, Paul was on his way. I had no expectations, but he came and we talked, drank wine, laughed and got on. We swapped numbers, went on a date. And that was it.’

Meanwhile, after she helped sing on Children In Need charity single Stop Crying Your Heart Out, it is heading to number one too.

Perrie: My heaven-scent band pal

She might have a nose for a hit but Perrie Edwards trusts bandmate Leigh-Anne Pinnock to pick her perfume — as she has no sense of smell.

The Little Mix siren spilled she is reliant on her pal (below) to make sure she smells sweet for Liverpool player boyfriend Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain. ‘I don’t have any sense of smell, so Leigh-Anne has to pick my perfume,’ the 27-year-old told Capital’s Big Top 40.

‘That’s how much I love and trust her. I let her pick my stench.’

She shared her secret as Little Mix’s new LP, Confetti, stormed this week’s charts.

Post isn’t impressed with Drake’s ping-pong game (Picture: Getty)

Booze the best? Drake stinks at beer pong, teases Post Malone

Drake might be the king of the charts but he ‘sucks’ at beer pong, Post Malone has taunted.

The Circles singer was surprised how average Drizzy, 34, was at the popular drinking game.

‘Drake’s no good,’ the 25-year-old snitched on US TV. ‘He came backstage at a show in Toronto and played beer pong. I was like, “Man, he sucks”.’

Giving Drake a chance to see if he can improve at bouncing a ping pong ball into a beer cup, Post added: ‘If you see this, come meet me, we’ll play again… but he was terrible.’

Malone himself is so obsessed with the boozy party game that he has been looking at starting a global beer pong league.
