Flashforward scenes in recent episodes have given us the idea that all is not well, with Sid looking emotional and upset – but it hasn’t been quite clear why.
It follows months of danger, crime and manipulation, with Sid and Juliet (Niamh Blackshaw) dealing drugs to students in the village and recruiting children to do the same – but just what is wrong with Sid? And what’s going to happen to him?
Those fears continue in the coming episodes, as not only is Jordan searching for the truth, but so is sinister Victor Brothers (Benjamin O’Mahony), who’s determined to find out who grassed on Jordan in an effort to dish out a severe punishment to them.
Actor Billy Price told Metro.co.uk: ‘Sid still is and may always be head over heels for Juliet, although she doesn’t see him in that way. With Juliet climbing the ranks, their involvement within county lines is dug deeper. The stakes are higher, and the consequences are dearer.
‘Sid always seems to get himself into the worst situations, and can never catch a break, however, as we have seen over the past few months, Sid always sticks up for the people he cares for, although this time, his actions have consequences, which will change his life forever.’
Hollyoaks continues tonight on E4 at 7pm.
