The final movie of the Fear Street trilogy, Fear Street Three: 1666, is set to hit Netflix soon, with the horror thriller building on Fear Street Part One: 1994 and Fear Street Part Two: 1978.
The first two instalments were released on the streaming service in July 2021, with the franchise being based on the R.L Stine book series.
Fear Street follows the story of two teenagers from Ohio who try to understand and defeat the Shadyside Witch.
In Fear Street Part One: 1994, Samantha Fraser (Olivia Scott Welch) accidentally bleeds on the bones of the witch, also known as Sarah Fier, prompting her to continue her role as the enemy of the public which she’s held for the last 300 years.
Sarah possesses Samantha at the end of the film and teenagers Deena Johnson (Kiana Madeira) and her brother Josh (Benjamin Flores Jr) contact two of the survivors of the 1978 Shadyside massacre.
Fear Street Part Two: 1978 sees Christine ‘Ziggy’ Berman (Gillian Jacobs) revisit her memories of her time at Camp Nightwing where she survived a massacre after being the target of one of the witch’s killers.
The second movie of the series is similar to the classic slasher movies of the 70s, while the first is similar to 90s horrors such as Scream.
So, when will the third instalment be available on Netflix and who is returning?
