ABBA’s return tour, after a nearly 40-year hiatus, is accompanied by their highly-anticipated new album, Voyage.
The revolutionary tour will see Bjorn, Benny, Agnetha, and Anni-Frid’s digital avatars of themselves – called ABBAtars – performing to millions of fans around the globe.
Some truly super trouper lights are to be expected, as the experience is being crafted by George Lucas’s Industrial Light & Magic special effects company – which is used for the digital effects in Star Wars.
But just where is this fantastical display taking place? Here is all you need to know.
Where is the ABBA arena?
The tour will take place in the ABBA arena in Stratford’s Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, London.
The park can be easily accessed from Stratford International, Stratford, Pudding Mill Lane, Hackney Wick, and Leyton train stations.
According to Ticketmaster, the best address to plug into your satnav is Pudding Mill Lane, London, E15 2PJ, Great Britain.
The tour will take place in a purpose-built ABBA Arena, which has capacity for 3000 fans.
UK ABBA fans can watch the fabulous four perform between May and September 2022, before the show is taken all around the world.
However, there’s no confirmation on where the international dates will take place just yet.
Shows will run Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at 7.45pm, while there will be 3pm matinee shows both days each weekend.
