Hollyoaks spoilers: Cleo arrested in shock new abuse story?

Cleo finds herself having to lie to the police (Picture: Lime Pictures)

Hollyoaks favourite Cleo McQueen (Nadine Mulkerrin) has something of a brush with the law next week.

The popular character comes to suspect that her patient, Tommy, is lying about how he got his injuries.

She believes that his stepdad Adrian was responsible, but with no evidence, she cannot prove it.

Toby Faroe (Bobby Gordon), having got wind of what’s bothering his girlfriend, tells her that having a bad feeling simply isn’t reason enough to get involved.

Cleo, however, makes it her mission to find out the truth about Tommy.

Toby, meanwhile, comes to believe that Adrian is, in fact, guilty of abuse. Therefore, he sets a plan in motion to seek revenge on the man.

Tommy opens up to Cleo, and they have a heart-to-heart.

However, things soon take a turn for the worse, when DS Cohen (Ariana Fraval) arrives at the hospital asking questions relating to their actions yesterday…

The nurse takes drastic action, and lies in order to protect herself.

Just what have Toby and Cleo done?

What’s more, why are they lying about it?

One to watch: Tuesday May 11 at 7pm on E4.
