A £100,000 Porsche has been vandalised in a belated ‘April Fools prank’ in London.

Giant red letters saying ‘April Fool’ were spray-painted on the sports car and its tyres were slashed on Haverstock Hill road, near Primrose Hill.

Hooligans splashed the remainder of the Panamera S with white paint and poured a saw-dust-like material on top of it.

It remains unclear who owns the expensive vehicle and why it was targeted.

The damage won’t be cheap to fix, with the owner or an insurance company potentially paying thousands for a fresh paint job and £400 for the tyres.

A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said no vandalism of a £100,000 Porsche in Primrose Hill had been reported.

It comes after a publicity stunt in 2017 saw a £90,000 Range Rover spray-painted with the words ‘cheater’, ‘liar’ and I ‘hope she was worth it’.

The owner of another £70,000 Range Rover covered it with the words ‘don’t trust Range Rover’ and dumped it outside a Mayfair car dealership in 2017.

He threatened to set it on fire after claiming the vehicle had shown him ‘warning lights telling him not to drive the car’.

Meanwhile, a Porsche of a similar model was spray-painted with the phrase ‘f**k you show off’ in London in 2019.

The Porsche Panamera – which retailed for £72,890 – was also daubed with the words ‘take off da rich and give to da poor’.

Primrose Hill, which has panoramic views over Regent’s Park, is a popular area for celebrities.

Lily James, Kate Moss and Daniel Craig have all lived nearby at some point over the past few years.

Revellers left huge amounts of rubbish in the area over the Easter bank holiday weekend after the rule of six returned in England.
