The Instagram Live, which quickly went viral, saw him joke that he ‘groomed’ the actress and made suggestive remarks about her. Hunter later told fans that her parents ‘approved of everything’.
His comments came after a picture of the pair standing with their arms around each other surfaced on Instagram, and he went live to address speculation they had dated.
A representative for Millie said on Tuesday that ‘his remarks on social media are not only dishonest, but also are irresponsible, offensive and hateful.’
They added to Mail Online: ‘Instead of engaging in a public discourse with him through the press or on social media, we are taking action to ensure that he stops this behaviour once and for all.’
Hunter, real name Hunter Ecimovic, has since said sorry for how he spoke about the 17-year-old star in a video shared on TikTok.
He claimed he was ‘getting more and drunk’ as the livestream went on and that he came across as ‘immature’. The internet personality added that people were ‘spreading stuff that’s not true’.
Hunter said: ‘It shouldn’t have happened in the first place. It was a stupid idea on my part to think it was gonna be ok to just continue to go live as it was getting more and more negative in the comments.
‘I was probably live for two to three hours and in those two to three hours I was getting more and more drunk. After I kept seeing how negative the comments were and seeing or hearing whatever people were saying to me, when they don’t know about anything ever, it was getting me more and more irritated. And with the alcohol I became more careless and I said stuff that should have never been said.’
He explained that his ‘natural instinct’ was the fan the flames and ‘antagonise’ people, confessing that this approach was ultimately ‘stupid’.
‘I’m also seeing clips of certain parts of it with people trying to make it ten times worse,’ Hunter said, ‘there are already stories that are completely not correct or never said.
‘It’s all been fabricated because that’s what happens apparently, but half of you guys are spreading stuff that’s not true. It’s like a little rumour about something and it gets spread.
‘The livestream I am sorry for. It was immature how I spoke, it looked horrible on my family and it looked horrible on me and my friends.
‘I am very sorry for doing that livestream. I said what I said and I can’t take that back. I’m not okay with what I said and I’m not trying to justify it at all. That’s it.’
